Thank You! – Fundraising Round-Up
This is our regular round-up to say a huge ‘thank you’ to our wonderful community fundraisers.
Each year, it costs around £12 million to deliver all our care services and to run the organisation. 30% of funds are commissioned by the NHS and 70% of our funds have to be raised by us, with the help of our passionate supporters.
Spring Serenade Concert
The James Paget University Hospital Choir hosted their Spring Serenade Concert at Trinity Methodist Church in Lowestoft. This fantastic evening of music, poetry and singalongs raised £560 for the hospice. Thank you so much to everyone who took part or attended.
Snowdon Climbing Challenge
The team at Klipspringer took on an epic fundraising challenge in May, when they climbed to the top of Mount Snowdon. They’ve raised an incredible £3,035 for the hospice so far, and there’s still time to donate to their fundraising here or here.
Bake Sale
Thank you to Kerseys Solicitors for supporting the hospice through bake sales in their Ipswich and Felixstowe offices. Team members baked and sold delicious treats which raised over £100.
Women in Business Lunch
Milsoms Kesgrave hosted a Women in Business lunch which featured a demo by Delilah makeup. The event raised a brilliant £275 for the hospice.
