Since 2019, St Elizabeth East Coast Hospice has been providing specialist palliative care services to nearly 5,000 patients and families in the Great Yarmouth & Waveney area, in partnership with East Coast Community Healthcare (ECCH).
We have 6 palliative care beds at Beccles Hospital, providing specialist consultant and general medical support for patients. However, 70% of our care is actually provided in people’s homes or other settings in the community. We support local care homes and our medical team provides specialist palliative care support at James Paget University Hospitals.
