Thank You! – Fundraising Round-Up
This is our regular round-up to say a huge ‘thank you’ to our wonderful community fundraisers.
Each year, it costs around £12 million to deliver all our care services and to run the organisation. 30% of funds are commissioned by the NHS and 70% of our funds have to be raised by us, with the help of our passionate supporters.
Castons – CCAS Cup
Castons recently organised the CCAS Cup – Construction Charity Football Tournament, raising £2,100 in support of St Elizabeth Hospice.
Lee Mitchell – Lake District Hike
Lee Mitchell raised £500 in memory of his godmother, Jenny Catchpole, who received care from St Elizabeth Hospice at Beccles Hospital. To honour her memory, Lee took on the challenge of completing a hike in the Lake District.
The Ipswich Oddfellows – Charity of the Year Fundraising
The Ipswich Oddfellows chose the hospice as their selected charity for the previous year. Through donations from their members, they raised a fantastic £1,450.
Inner Wheel Club of Ipswich East – Charity of the Year Fundraising
The members of the Inner Wheel Club of Ipswich East chose the hospice as their chosen charity of the year. They raised an incredible £2,236.49 and have chosen to support the hospice for a third year.
Ipswich Friendly Dart League – Charity of the Year Fundraising
The Ipswich Friendly Dart League has chosen to fundraise for the hospice over the past year. They raised a fantastic £1,260 this year, bringing their total raised so to an incredible £17,411.78 We’re so grateful for their continued generosity and support.
