LivingGrief Bereavement Support

LivingGrief is the St Elizabeth Hospice bereavement service, co-ordinating support for East Suffolk.

We specialise in bereavement from life-limiting and long term illnesses.

However, we can signpost you to the right support whether it is a bereavement from a loss of a baby, unexpected death of a child or adult or suicide.

Our LivingGrief bereavement and emotional wellbeing enquiry line is available to anyone affected by grief.

Where does LivingGrief provide support?

East & Mid-Suffolk

LivingGrief is open to anyone in East Suffolk, even if you haven’t had contact with the hospice before. Our team are specialised to help you with bereavement from life-limiting or long term illness.

Our LivingGrief Hub can signpost you to support if you have had the loss of a baby, unexpected death of a child or adult, or if you are bereaving from someone who had cancer, COVID-19 or may have died from suicide.

Great Yarmouth & Waveney

If you live in Great Yarmouth & Waveney, LivingGrief is only available if you are already known to St Elizabeth East Coast Hospice. You may have had our services in your own home, at a Community Care Unit, in a care home or at Beccles Hospital.

Watch our LivingGrief videos

Our LivingGrief Team have produced videos on YouTube to help you navigate your grief.

The collection of videos is growing so head to YouTube for our full playlist.

Before LivingGrief I had a sense that life was a closed book, but the service has shown me life is full of new possibilities and I have a feeling of openness once more, which I never thought would be possible.
