Local Hospice Lottery is a really easy way to support St Elizabeth Hospice whilst having the chance to win some incredible cash prizes!
Local Hospice Lottery is a weekly lottery, set up to provide financial support to adult & children’s hospices across Great Britain.
Since joining Local Hospice Lottery in October 2022, our generous supporters have raised over £500,000 by playing from just £1 per play each week.
Playing the Local Hospice Lottery in support of St Elizabeth Hospice gives you a chance to win £2,000 every single week – along with 200 other cash prizes. Plus, there is a rollover that can reach as high as £25,000*!
Players are also automatically entered into Super Draws, which take place every March, September and December, which have an additional guaranteed top prize of an incredible £10,000!
Prizes are issued automatically each week, so you don’t even need to worry about remembering to check your number(s) or claim any prizes. However, the weekly winning numbers are always available on the Local Hospice Lottery website & social media pages.
As well as having a great chance to win, you will of course also be helping to make a real difference to local families in need of our help.
* The £1,000 prize can roll over to a maximum of £25,000 (excluding Super Draw weeks where the £1,000 prize will always remain £1,000)!
Local Hospice Lottery is a hospice owned collaboration. By sharing one prize fund and set of administration costs, players can benefit from a larger prize fund (the biggest of any hospice lottery) and more money can be raised for St Elizabeth Hospice than if we ran our own lottery.
St Elizabeth Hospice is one of a number of hospices throughout Great Britain supported by Local Hospice Lottery. Local Hospice Lottery will give between 60% and 80% of profits from individuals playing in support of St Elizabeth Hospice to St Elizabeth Hospice. This is expected to be at least £1,400,000 over five years from November 2022.

To help to recruit players, a team of paid Fundraisers will be working in the local area both door-to-door and at venues. Each member of the team will be wearing a uniform and will have a Local Hospice Lottery photo identity card with them. I was shocked and very pleased to win! As a family, we’ve been touched by people who have needed hospice care, including immediate family, so it’s a personal connection and important to support for the wider community.
It’s nice to win but it is the hospice that is important.
