Compassionate Community Events

There are plenty of groups across East Anglia to help you connect with others who may be experiencing diagnosis, loss and bereavement.

See what is available with our partnerships below…

Bereavement Café

Join Britten Pears Arts in the beautiful and peaceful surroundings of The Red House, Aldeburgh for a monthly bereavement café.

The team offer a welcoming space for those coping with loss to gather, meet, talk, and find comfort and support in shared experiences.

Run by trained volunteers, with the support of St Elizabeth Hospice, Britten Pears Arts hopes to provide a social space for people who are facing bereavement to talk about their experience of loss in a safe, relaxed environment.

In 2024, Britten Pears Arts is exploring the theme of Compassionate Communities in relation to end-of-life, grief and loss across all strands of their activity.
