Thank You! – Fundraising Round-Up

This is our regular round-up to say a huge ‘thank you’ to our wonderful community fundraisers.

Each year, it costs around £12 million to deliver all our care services & to run the organisation. 30% of funds are commissioned by the NHS & 70% of our funds have to be raised by us, with the support of our passionate supporters.

CraveNPizza

Well done to Lucy and CraveNPizza who specifically fundraised for the Volunteer Pizza Night which was held back in October 2025. Thank you for supporting the hospice and by helping us celebrate the amazing work our volunteers do!

Suffolk Carpet Bowls Association

Well done to everyone at the Suffolk Carpet Bowls Association who took part in their annual Charity Fours Day.

Around 160 people attended and took part in the games and there was a very successful raffle. An amazing £1,365 was raised on the day and donated to the hospice. Thank you so much for your amazing support.

Fircroft Hairdressing & Francesco Hair Salon

We would like to thank Fircroft Hairdressing and Francesco Hair Salon, who raised an incredible £5,603 for St Elizabeth Hospice in 2025.

They arranged a successful quiz night at which stylist Danny Jones was sponsored to have his head shaved! Both salons also kindly supported us at Suffolk Remembers, Midnight Walk and Christmas Jumper Day.

They have decided to continue their support for another year and we can’t wait to see what they do next.

Charity Bike Ride

A huge thank you to Christine and Samantha who completed a charity bike ride in memory of their husband and dad, Bob Bullard.

The 35-mile route was Bob’s favourite, and Christine and Samantha were joined by 17 supporters who also took on the challenge. They raised an incredible £771! Well done everyone.
