Moments Coffee Shop Stowmarket Update

It is with sadness that we have taken the difficult decision to cease operating our Moments Stowmarket Coffee Shop with immediate effect.

Despite our best efforts and support from the local Stowmarket community over the years, operational challenges and rising expenditure mean that the business model is no longer sustainable. Hospitality businesses are struggling nationwide, with significant changes in response to the current economic climate, and we must act in the best interests of the hospice.

We want to thank all our staff and volunteers for their hard work and support at the Stowmarket site, which has been hugely appreciated. Moments Heath Road will continue to operate and we are grateful for the fantastic support the community gives to our coffee shop.

Although we are sad to lose Moments, we are pleased to share that we will be repurposing the space at Stowmarket to become a furniture retail space. This reflects growing customer demand for affordable, sustainable furniture in support of a local cause.

We are grateful for the opportunity to maintain our presence in Stowmarket town centre through this new venture, working in conjunction with our existing retail shop. We’d like to thank our teams in advance for their support during this transition.
