Take Part in Our First Silent Jingle Bell Jog!

St Elizabeth Hospice is encouraging the local community to lace up their trainers and get their headphones ready as part of the charity’s new Christmas feel-good fundraiser, Silent Jingle Bell Jog.

Taking place on Friday 4 December, between 6-9pm at Great Yarmouth Town Football Club, the event will see hospice supporters run, jog walk, dance and jingle their way around the stadium track while listening to their favourite tunes in their headphones.

Participants can complete as many laps as they like, at their own pace, making the event suitable for all ages and abilities. Whether they choose to run, jog, walk or dance their way around the track, it is all about having fun while raising funds for St Elizabeth Hospice and its services.

James Fox-Golding, Events Manager at St Elizabeth Hospice, said: “We’re so excited to announce our new festive fundraiser, Silent Jingle Bell Jog, for Christmas 2026.

“It’s sure to be an evening full of festive cheer, suitable for people of all ages to come together, have fun and get into the Christmas spirit, while showing their love for the hospice.

“Every penny raised will make a difference to our services and help support our plans to build a community hospice in Gorleston.”

Funds raised by Silent Jingle Bell Jog will go towards St Elizabeth Hospice’s Christmas appeal, Be a Star.

Every Christmas, the hospice provides vital care to more than 1,300 people living with progressive and life-limiting illnesses, and their families, across East & Mid Suffolk, Great Yarmouth and Waveney; for many, it will be their last Christmas spent together.

Through Be a Star, which is sponsored by Astral Global Logistics, the charity encourages the community to support the hospice over the Christmas period and help staff ensure patients and families create precious moments together.

Silent Jingle Bell Jog will be held Great Yarmouth Town Football Club, Sandown Road, Great Yarmouth, NR30 1EY. Food and drink will be available to purchase throughout the evening and a bar will also be open.
