Enjoy Stunning Sunflowers as part of Great Garden Trail

Explore the stunning sunflowers of Beacon Hill Farm this August as part of St Elizabeth Hospice’s Great Garden Trail.

Taking place between 10am-4pm on Sunday 16 August, Beacon Hill Farm is a new addition to The Great Garden Trail 2026, with beautiful fields of sunflowers available to enjoy and the perfect spot for a photo and a slice of cake all while raising funds for St Elizabeth Hospice.

Running from February to September, The Great Garden Trail features a wide variety of gardens, from those supported by whole villages to beautiful hidden gems, all welcoming visitors in return for a donation to the independent Suffolk charity which supports patients and families living with life-limiting and progressive illness.

Kelly Nekrews, community fundraiser at St Elizabeth Hospice, said: “We are so pleased to welcome Beacon Hill Farm to The Great Garden Trail, offering an absolutely amazing display of sunflowers for all to enjoy in such a perfect setting.

“It will be a real treat for Great Garden Trail enthusiasts to enjoy, while also raising vital funds to support our services across the local community at a time in people’s lives when support matters most.”

Tickets cost £5, under 16s are free, and can be purchased online (click here) or on the day from Beacon Hill Farm, Bealings Road, Martlesham, IP12 4RP. Entry is free if you already have The Great Garden Trail Season Pass.

All ticket proceeds and donations from The Great Garden Trail will go to St Elizabeth Hospice, which every year provides support to over 4,000 patients & families living with life-limiting illnesses in East & Mid-Suffolk, Great Yarmouth and Waveney.

Annually, these services cost around £12 million to deliver, with 70% of these funds being generated by the local community’s support of the hospice’s income streams.
