Thank You! – Fundraising Round-Up

This is our regular round-up to say a huge ‘thank you’ to our wonderful community fundraisers.

Each year, it costs around £12 million to deliver all our care services and to run the organisation. 30% of funds are commissioned by the NHS and 70% of our funds have to be raised by us, with the support of our passionate supporters.

Ben and Bodhi

A huge thank you to Ben and Bodhi, who braved the shave in aid of the hospice! They raised an incredible £1,613.75 and left the hairdressers with a fantastic new look.

Graham Plumbers’ Merchant

The brilliant team at Graham Plumbers’ Merchant supported us throughout 2025, with a whole host of quirky and creative fundraising events. From Valentine’s Day and Christmas raffles, to their Easter spin-to-win, football shirt giveaways and a ‘win your height in beer’ competition, their commitment has been inspiring.

Over the year, they raised an amazing £3,322. We’re so grateful that they’ve chosen to continue their support in 2026 and can’t wait to see what they come up with next!

Sharon Hatcher

A long time supporter of St Elizabeth Hospice and The Great Garden Trail, Sharon Hatcher has raised a staggering £62,695 for us since 2010!

Sharon grows and sells plants from her home and at various fairs throughout our region. Last year, she presented the hospice with a donation of £6,000 from her sales. Thank you so much for your continued support.

Noteriety Choir

Thank you to Noteriety Choir, who raised a fantastic £463.49 at their Annual Christmas Concert – and provided an excellent night of entertainment, too!

Felixstowe Rugby Club

Felixstowe Rugby Club organised a fundraising lunch and raffle, which raised an amazing £630. Well done everyone – it looks like a great time was had by all!

RWE Generation UK

RWE in Great Yarmouth chose St Elizabeth Hospice to receive a generous donation of £750. This donation will go a long way towards supporting vital care in our community – thank you.
