Thank You! – Fundraising Round-Up

This is our regular round-up to say a huge ‘thank you’ to our wonderful community fundraisers.

Each year, it costs around £12 million to deliver all our care services and to run the organisation. 30% of funds are commissioned by the NHS and 70% of our funds have to be raised by us, with the help of our passionate supporters.

Simon Taylor

Simon Taylor organised the 2026 CALT Cup charity football event. The final total raised was an incredible £10,169 which takes the total amount raised over the past two years to over £20,000!

Katie Cocker

A huge thank you to Katie Cocker who organised a 12-hour Singathon in aid of the hospice. The event was held in memory of her Dad and Grandy. This was the second Singathon Katie has organised, this year it had new songs, more cake and Katies same fantastic voice. It was hugely successful and raised £1,459.66

NFU Mutual Bake Sale

Thank you to the team from NFU Mutual who raised a fantastic £305 by holding a bake sale for the hospice. The team are fundraising for the hospice throughout the year, so will be added to their fundraising pot!
