Thank You! – Fundraising Round-Up
This is our regular round-up to say a huge ‘thank you’ to our wonderful community fundraisers.
Each year, it costs around £12 million to deliver all our care services and to run the organisation. 30% of funds are commissioned by the NHS and 70% of our funds have to be raised by us, with the help of our passionate supporters.
Felixstowe Thai Community
A fantastic time was had when Felixstowe Thai Community held a Thai Night in October. The event featured traditional Thai dance and a delicious Thai food buffet. Following the event, £2,189 was donated to the hospice, bringing the total raised so far by the group to an incredible £6,901. Thank you so much!
Jessica Everett
Jessica organised a brilliant garden sale, where she sold fresh produce including a selection of honeys, chutneys, marmalades, jams and pickles, as well as plants. A huge thank you to Jessica for this event, which raised £280.
Sean Jarrod
Congratulations to Sean Jarrod who completed the Ipswich Half Marathon, raising a brilliant £125 for the hospice. Thank you for choosing to fundraise for us.
BT
Thank you to the team at BT, who held a golf day at Felixstowe Golf Club, in memory of their colleague Ashley Pickering, who received care from our team. The event raised £1,524.
Logical Personnel
The staff from Logical Personnel took on various fundraising challenges, raising £562 in total. Thank you!
Gallagher RE
The team from Gallagher RE organised a charity run and walk, in memory of their colleague Ann Rideout, who was supported by the hospice. Their fundraising was matched by Gallagher RE, giving a brilliant final total of £4,183.
