Nutrition, Hydration and Mouth Care at End of Life (2025)

Nutrition, hydration and mouthcare at end of life. Individualisation of care at end of life must include assessment and discussion around nutrition and hydration. This training session is aimed at health care assistants and other professionals that wish to explore and gain a greater understanding as to how poor appetite and dysphagia can affect the individual at end of life. It also aims to identify how important it is to support and provide the individual with  exemplary mouth care at end of life.

• 31st July 2025 from 10.00 am to 13.00 pm at St Elizabeth Hospice, 565 Foxhall Road, Ipswich, IP3 8LX

It is important for Hospice Education that we are able to include everyone with different backgrounds and make the education experience accessible for all. If you have any special requirements or need any reasonable adjustments to be made please email   education@stelizabethhospice.org.uk  in advance of attending the training.

Parking

Parking is limited at all 3 hospice sites so we ask that you park in accordance with the highway code as poor parking creates a reputational risk for the hospices with our neighbours .  Thank you for your consideration.

Cancellation Policy

Please contact us at the earliest opportunity. We ask for at least 48 hours’ notice for the cancellation of our courses. For cancellations within 48 hours of the event, any course fee paid will be retained. Fees will also be retained if you do not attend the session on the set date. All courses are subject to change or cancellation suitable notification will be provided.
