Your loved one’s clothes captured in a beautiful keepsake bear.
Losing a loved one is such a difficult part of our lives. With Material Memories your loved one’s favourite clothes can be handcrafted into a personal keepsake bear that can sit with you every day.
We’ve teamed up with Made With Love needle crafter Sue Marshall, who has been raising funds for the hospice with her sewing talents.
All bears are fully lined and hand stitched, with the bears being made from almost any material. Sue will use your loved ones clothes to create a unique and special keepsake bear.
If you have any special requests, for example an emblem on a tie or piece of lace on a blouse, she will incorporate these for you. If you have several items of clothes they can all be used to make the bear.

Tracey had many bears made in
memory of her mum:
“When my mum died I knew that I wanted to make something special from her clothes.
As I sorted through her things, I pulled out clothes that had a special meaning – the dress mum wore to a darts match, one she wore to work as a telephonist, it was handmade from Chinese patterned dressing gown material. The icing on the cake was the ‘lost’ wedding dress that I had kept, but was not sure what to do with it.
I had several bears made and each one was made because there was meaning behind them too. Each one feels like I’ve got a little bit of my wonderful mum with me and help me remember the good times.”
