Treecycling Returns in Great Yarmouth & Waveney!

St Elizabeth Hospice in partnership with Just Helping is organising its second Christmas tree recycling “Tree-cycling” scheme in Great Yarmouth and Waveney.

Registration is open from 15 November through to 7 January 2026 with the partnership collecting trees from homes in the following postcodes: NR29, NR30, NR31, NR32, NR33, NR34 and NR35 in return for a donation to support the work of the charity of the local area.

Tree collection will take place on 13 and 14 January, with hospice teams being joined by volunteers from Balfour Beatty, Flagship Services and Medequip who are kindly supporting the work this year, all recycled tree will be used locally for animal feed and pathways, at Wilderley farm.

Chloe Lock, community fundraiser at St Elizabeth Hospice, said: “Please join our ‘tree-cycling’ scheme this year and turn your festive clean-up into a gift that gives back to St Elizabeth Hospice.

“Every Christmas tree recycled helps us raise vital funds to support patients and their families when compassionate care matters most.”

Donations are encouraged, with all funds going towards supporting the work of St Elizabeth Hospice which, in partnership with East Coast Community Healthcare, has cared for more than 6,000 patients and their families in Great Yarmouth and Waveney, since launching in April 2019.
