Larch Project Celebrates Connections Between School Pupils & Hospice

14 October 2025

Over the past month, we’ve had the pleasure of welcoming Cedarwood Primary School to the hospice as part of The Larch Project – an initiative that connects schoolchildren with hospice patients through storytelling, creativity and shared experiences.

Today (14 October), we celebrated the end of the project where each team presented their own artistic creation – from a handmade giant football, quizzes, to singing around a ‘campfire’ – all showing the powerful connections they’ve made.

Patients shared how working with the children has brought joy to their lives. Thank you to everyone who took part.

If your primary school would like to take part in the Larch Project, we would love to hear from you!
