Festive Fun at Zest!

02 December 2025

There was lots of fantastic festive fun to be had as Zest held its annual Zest X-Change Christmas party on Tuesday 2 December.

The evening saw the young adults enjoy a buffet and a dance along to their favourite festive songs with a Christmas disco, while wearing a range of Christmas jumpers and outfits.

This was followed by a range of Yuletide-themed games and activities, including Christmas card making, Christmas bowling and a visit from Father Christmas himself!

Joanne Spencer, activities coordinator at Zest, said: “What fantastic evening! The whole team and Zest young adults always enjoy our Christmas parties, as we come together to mark the start of the Christmas period with plenty of festive fun and games.

“A big thank you to all the volunteers and carers for making the evening so special, and most importantly, to the young adults for bringing the Christmas energy and atmosphere!”

Part of the St Elizabeth Hospice Group, since 2015, Zest has provided specialist medical and social support services to young adults, aged 14 and upwards, living with progressive and life-limiting illnesses, while also ensuring the smooth transition from children’s hospice into adult care.

Held on the first Tuesday of every month, between 4.30pm-7.30pm, Zest X-Change is Zest’s young adult social group. Zest X-Change offers a place for young people to meet, engage in inclusive activities and share experiences. It is available for young adults aged 14 upwards to support the transition from children’s services.
