St Elizabeth Hospice opened the biggest charity retail outlet in Ipswich today.
The 6,000 sq ft outlet in Holywells Retail Centre, Holywells Road, includes around 3,000 sq ft of selling space and a donations drop-off point.
The St Elizabeth Hospice Retail Centre was officially opened by St Elizabeth Hospice Trustee and leading businessman Ian Turner at 10am.
Mr Turner said: “Thank you to all our staff and volunteers for such a superb effort creating this fantastic new Retail Centre, it’s a fantastic end to the best ever year in retail for St Elizabeth Hospice.
“A big thank you to the public too for their hugely generous donations and continued support.”
Donations can be made of quality clothes, accessories, DVDs, records, books, toys, homeware, linen, small electrical items and bric-a-brac. They can be dropped off at the centre, where parking is available.
