Orwell

Rebecca is an artist from Suffolk and now living in Norwich. Having spent her childhood growing up on the Suffolk coast she has drawn influences from the towns and villages that dot the coastline. Her work has an Art Deco/ travel poster feel to it. Orwell is based on the River Orwell, named after author George Orwell – an important Author, Poet and Social Critic of the 20th century. Transport is the main theme; the River Orwell provides links to Ipswich Marina as well as the Orwell bridge, which is an important transport link for Suffolk; providing access further south. Rebecca also wanted to include the train as Orwell will be sat proudly at Ipswich Station!
