Cathy Simpson is a very experienced illustrator and exhibited painter, with a particular interest in natural history and conservation. This design features a motionless hare, asleep in a wildflower meadow where night-flying moths take over the role of pollinator from the bees of the day. The setting sun and the rising full moon provide the gentle light which allows the flowers to glow.
