Cathy is an experienced illustrator and exhibited painter, with a particular interest in natural history. This design shows leaping hares intertwined with harebell plants. The harebell (campanula rotundifolia) acquired its name in folklore. It was believed that witches used the sap from the plants to transform themselves into hares.
