Volunteer Role Description
No Barriers Here is a project facilitated by St Elizabeth Hospice that aims to improve advance care planning and increase access to palliative and end of life care. Delivered through a series of inclusive, art-based workshops, the project supports people to explore and engage with the core principles and topics of advance care planning in a creative, supportive, and accessible way
No Barriers Here Facilitators play a key role in guiding participants through these workshops, creating a safe and welcoming environment, and supporting meaningful discussion and expression.
We are looking for facilitators that can work sensitively with individuals and groups to remove barriers to engagement, and ensure participants feel heard, respected, and empowered to share what matters most to them.
St Elizabeth Hospice has a volunteer mileage/expenses policy which allows volunteers to claim expenses and mileage incurred whilst carrying out their role for the hospice.
