A Family Afternoon of Stories, Music and Memories
We warmly invite bereaved families to join us for a special afternoon inspired by the story The Day the Sea Went Out and Never Came Back.
Together, we will explore memories, feelings and connections through storytelling, music and creative activities in a safe and supportive environment.
What to Expect
🎵 Interactive music session with our Music Therapist
📖 Storytelling and reflection
🪨 Memory stone painting for our hospice Memory Garden
🪴 Decorate a plant pot to take home and grow in memory of your loved one
☕ Refreshments and time to connect with other families

Who: Bereaved families with children and young people aged 5–14 years
Venue: Atrium, St Elizabeth Hospice, 565 Foxhall Road, Ipswich
This afternoon offers families a chance to remember someone special, create meaningful keepsakes, and spend time together with others who understand grief and loss.
