In partnership with East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices
Walk On Together – adult only walk
A new family walk
We are delighted to be introducing Walk On Together – a new collaboration between EACH and St Elizabeth Hospice, bringing together bereaved families for gentle, supportive walks in the local community.
Building on the success of St Elizabeth Hospice’s existing Walk On programme, we are excited to explore this new family-focused approach, creating opportunities for families from both charities to connect with others who understand the experience of losing a child, young person or adult child.
Families are invited to join us on one or two planned walks, each taking place on a different date and at a different time of day as we explore what works best for families. During each walk, there will be a stop at a local café or coffee shop, providing an opportunity to rest, chat and get to know one another. If you would like to purchase a drink or snack during the stop, please feel free to bring some money with you.
These walks are open to bereaved families supported by EACH, St Elizabeth Hospice and other local communities and organisations following the death of a child, young person or adult child.
On Saturday 5 September siblings and other children within the family are very welcome to attend, and we encourage you to come together in whatever way feels right for your family. The walk starts at 2.30pm at Ufford Park.
On Thursday 24 September this walk is for adults only, and we warmly encourage parents and carers to attend together, or individually, in whatever way feels right for them. We kindly ask that siblings and other children under the age of 18 years do not attend this walk. The walk starts at 10.30am from The Hold in Ipswich, with a stop at Bishops Cafe.
Whether you would like to walk alongside others, enjoy some fresh air, make new connections or simply spend time with people who understand, we would love to welcome you.

Please arrive 15 minutes before the walk starts.
