Our Spotlight Sessions are 1-hour focused online training opportunities delivered via Microsoft Teams. These sessions are ideal for healthcare professionals who want to boost their knowledge and confidence in key areas of palliative and end of life care – all from the convenience of their workplace or home.

These sessions are free to attend for staff across North East Essex.
All sessions include practical guidance, real-world examples, and opportunities to ask questions. Ideal for care home staff, community health workers, and professionals across the health and social care sectors.

Learning outcomes:

• Demonstrate knowledge of good mouth care and how oral health is linked to general wellbeing
• Identify the skills needed to assess the mouth and apply mouth care
• Recognise challenges in mouth care for deteriorating patients
