What to donate and how

All St Elizabeth Hospice and Zest stores are open, in line with government guidance and restrictions and normal trading hours have resumed.

All shops are accepting donations. Details of your nearest shop can be found here.

You do not have to ring before submitting donations from 4 January 2023.

Opening times may vary for each store, so please check this page before visiting.

Heath Road Coffee Shop has indoor and outdoor seating for dining. The takeaway service will still be in operation too. Heath Road Coffee Shop is open 9am to 3pm, Monday to Saturday.

Tall Orders in Stowmarket is also open with indoor dining from 8.30am-3.30pm, Monday to Saturday. Food is served until 3pm.

We encourage all customers to shop safely by following these points:

  • If you feel unwell, or have COVID-19 symptoms, please do not enter the shop
  • Whilst face coverings are not mandatory, we would advise the use of face coverings whilst shopping with us and our team may continue to wear these too
  • We continue to provide complimentary hand sanitiser
  • Please continue to use contactless payment where possible
  • Please adhere to any instructions in the shop, respect our staff and volunteers and leave space for other shoppers in store

St Elizabeth Hospice and Zest accept a wide range of donations. However, all donations must be saleable, clean and complete.

 

All stores will be accepting donations from 12 April 2021.

  • Computer hard drives
  • Consumables
  • Coat hangers
  • Cot Beds
  • Child car seats
  • Crash helmets
  • Cosmetics & scents
  • CRT computer monitor screens
  • Duvets & pillows
  • Incomplete items
  • Mattresses
  • Medications & vitamins
  • Oil, gas & fuel filled items
  • Paints, solvents & adhesives
  • Perishable goods
  • Personal hygiene items
  • Plastic food containers
  • Printers, inks & toners
  • Smoking products
  • Used window blinds
  • Used underwear
  • VHS videos & players

Disclaimer: The acceptance of donations is at the discretion of the shop manager, and we reserve the right to refuse donations for any of the following reasons:

  • The shop or retail centre has reached its storage capacity
  • The donation poses a safety hazard to staff
  • The donation includes items from our exclusion list
  • The donation does not fulfil our acceptance criteria of being saleable, clean and complete
