St Elizabeth Hospice cares for people 365 days a year and 24 hours a day but Christmas is always a special time.

We know for many of our patients this sadly may be their last Christmas so we always try to ensure that we do everything we can to make it the Christmas they want. This can mean us making special arrangements to get people home with all the additional support that can entail or, if this isn’t possible, we try to make the hospice extra special – Santa even visits.

To care for our patients we have to generate £10.5 million each year and the demands on our services is increasing. Any way you can find to help us support those in need is greatly appreciated and below we have detailed some of the ways you can do so this Christmas.

Thank you

Home for Christmas Appeal

We have now launched our  Christmas appeal. It tells the story of a gentleman we were able to get home for his last Christmas last year. His wife told us “It was such a relief to know that the hospice was taking care of Kevin so I could focus on being his wife, not his carer.”  Find out more here.
