Zest Visits the Beach!
Zest young adults and their families enjoyed a fantastic trip to Felixstowe beach this August, as part of the monthly Zest X-Change.
Taking place on Tuesday 6th August, the Zest group visited the beach at Felixstowe to enjoy an evening full of seaside themed games and activities, as well as the all-important fish and chips.
The young adults decorated their own flip flops, painted beach stones, took part in an ice cream themed memory game, as well as marked George Docker’s birthday too!
Kim Morton, registered nurse at Zest, said: “It really was a fun packed evening, which all the young adults smiled throughout.
“It was so nice to be able to visit the seaside and we also had the chance to mark George’s birthday with cake and a card, which he was amazed at!”
Part of the St Elizabeth Hospice Group, since 2015, Zest has provided specialist medical and social support services to young adults, aged 14 and upwards, living with progressive and life-limiting illnesses, while also ensuring the smooth transition from children’s hospice into adult care.
