What could you do for St Elizabeth Hospice in 2014?
A new events booklet to inspire people to take part in a challenge in 2014 in aid of St Elizabeth Hospice has now been launched.
The Hospice is offering more fundraising events and unique challenges than ever before and an open evening will be held on Wednesday 29th January from 5.30pm – 9pm for anyone wishing to find out more.
The booklet called What Could You Do in 2014? includes a wide range of activities a bespoke trek through the Sahara Desert, plenty for cyclists to choose from as well as popular sponsored events in Suffolk.
2014 sees the return of the hugely popular Midnight Walk – which now includes a half-marathon style course for walkers or runners – the adventurous Great Xscape or Survive and the Christmas Day Dip.
Leanne Carhart, St Elizabeth Hospice’s Events Fundraiser, said: “This year we have got more events and challenges than ever before to offer our supporters. Whether people want to take part in one of our events in memory of a loved one, to help get fit, as part of a group with friends or colleagues just for fun, or whether you’re taking on a personal challenge, or a once in a lifetime challenge, we hope we’ve got something for everyone on offer.
“This year St Elizabeth Hospice marks its 25th anniversary, so we’re hoping this will encourage more people to get involved and support us. We’ve provided local Hospice care for local people for the past 25 years, and your support means we can continue to do so for years to come.”
Other ways you can support St Elizabeth Hospice during their 25th anniversary year include holding your own events, volunteering your time to help at the Hospice, in one of their shops or at an event, or why not donate 25 items to your local Hospice shop to keep it stocked during their 25th anniversary year.
