Waldringfield Tractor Run Supporting Hospice
The much-loved Waldringfield Tractor Run is returning once more this August to raise vital funds for the hospice.
Taking place on Saturday 10th August, the tractor convoy will start at 10am from Waldringfield before passing through Brightwell (with a great viewing point at the Stables Coffee Shop), Bucklesham, Nacton, Levington and Kirton as part of a 25 mile route.
As is tradition, the convoy will stop at Kirton Recreation Ground for a lunch break for drivers as well as supporters and the chance to take part in a fundraising raffle for St Elizabeth Hospice.
Kelly Nekrews, Community Fundraiser at St Elizabeth Hospice, said: “Thank you once again to the team behind Waldringfield Tractor Run for supporting the hospice, for what will be the 21st year.
“Every penny you have raised for the charity is greatly appreciated and has made such a difference to those under our care.
“We cannot wait for the tractor run to return and encourage our supporters to pop along to see the fantastic range of tractors on display, while showing their love for their local hospice.”
All tractors are welcome to take part in the event, but must be capable of doing 10mph and there is an entry fee of £15 per tractor. Any sponsorship gained will be appreciated and should be paid directly to the organiser’s on the day or via their JustGiving page – www.justgiving.com/page/david-cope-1716897075862.
All the funds raised have been donated to St Elizabeth Hospice, which every year delivers specialist palliative care to more than 4,000 people living with a progressive or life-limiting illness, and their families, throughout East Suffolk, Great Yarmouth and Waveney.
