Train memorabilia sold in support of the hospice
Trevor Southgate, who works on the railways, recently sold some train memorabilia in support of St Elizabeth Hospice. Trevor designed and commissioned some enamel badges to commemorate the introduction of new rolling stock and sold them to his friends and colleagues.
In total, Trevor raised an amazing £1110 for the hospice.
Trevor has now retired after 40 years working on the railways but has joined the hospice as a volunteer, working in the shop at Needham Market.
Trevor has no direct connection with the hospice but has friends who have experienced the services and he felt he wanted to help a local charity supporting local people. He’s thrilled with the amount he raised for the hospice and is looking forward to the next challenge.
