Two top authors will be the star attraction at a unique fundraising event in aid of local charity St Elizabeth Hospice.
Foyle’s War writer Anthony Horowitz, who has also written more than 50 books, and renowned author Meg Rosoff will be in conversation with BBC Look East anchorman Stewart White during a Literary Lunch.
It will be held on Friday 23rd November at 11.45 am at Thorpeness Country Club, Thorpeness, Suffolk and tickets are now on sale to the public.
Drinks and canapés will be served on arrival, followed by a two course meal after which Anthony and Meg will be taking talking to Stewart and there will be an opportunity for guests to ask questions.
Anthony Horowitz, who lives in Orford, Suffolk and London, said: “I was delighted to be invited to attend this fundraising event for St Elizabeth Hospice and I look forward to talking about my work with Stewart White and the guests.”
Meg Rosoff, who lives on the Suffolk coast and in London, said: “St Elizabeth Hospice does such wonderful work — and does it with patience, expertise and love. I’m honoured to support such a worthy local cause.”
Rachael Brown, of St Elizabeth Hospice, said: “St Elizabeth Hospice relies on fundraising and donations to provide local care for local people and we are grateful to Anthony, Meg and Stewart supporting us in this way.
