Thank You Thompson & Morgan for a Year of Support
St Elizabeth Hospice is thanking Thompson & Morgan for a fantastic year of support and generosity.
Based in Ipswich, Thompson & Morgan has been selling seeds, plants and sundries since 1855 and has grown to become the UK’s largest mail order seed and plant company.
From donating plants to the much-loved hospice garden, to providing garden-themed raffle prizes, supporting the hospice’s ever-popular Great Garden Trail and helping promote fundraising opportunities for people to support the independent Suffolk charity, Thompson & Morgan’s support has made a big difference in 2025.
Chris Wright, Chief Executive Officer at Thompson & Morgan, said: “We are delighted to be partnering with St Elizabeth Hospice, having seen firsthand the work they do we did not hesitate in supporting them in any way we could.
“It is a fantastic cause, with passionate and driven people who are really making a difference to improve those precious final moments of someone’s life, and we are extremely proud to play a small part in that.”
Kelly Nekrews, Community Fundraiser at St Elizabeth Hospice, said: “On behalf of the St Elizabeth Hospice team, I would like to say a huge ‘thank you’ to Thompson & Morgan for your support over the last twelve months.
“Your generosity plays a vital role in supporting our events, spreading the word about the hospice and bringing joy to patients and staff through your garden-themed donations!”
Every year, it costs around £12 million to deliver our services, with 70% of these funds coming from the generosity of our local community.
Thanks to community support, St Elizabeth Hospice is able to care for over 4,000 patients and their families across East & Mid-Suffolk, Great Yarmouth, and Waveney annually.
