Take Part in Tree-cycling Scheme in Great Yarmouth & Waveney
St Elizabeth East Coast Hospice in partnership with Just Helping is organising its first Christmas tree recycling “Tree-cycling” scheme in Great Yarmouth and Waveney following the success of their Suffolk collection and to mirror the hospice services provided in this area.
Registration is open from 15 November through to 5 January 2025 with the partnership collecting trees from homes in the following postcodes: NR29, NR30, NR31, NR34 & NR35 in return for a donation to support the work of the charity.
Tree collection will take place on 8 and 9 January, with hospice teams being joined by volunteers from Cadent Gas, Flagship Housing and Medequip who are kindly supporting the work this year, all recycled tree will be used locally for animal feed and pathways.

Donations are encouraged, with all funds going towards supporting the work of St Elizabeth East Coast Hospice which, in partnership with East Coast Community Healthcare, has cared for more than 5,000 patients and their families in Great Yarmouth and Waveney, since launching in April 2019.
