Tailored bereavement support available through new LivingGrief Hub

St Elizabeth Hospice’s bereavement service, LivingGrief, have recently launched a new site dedicated to co-ordinating bereavement support in East Suffolk.

The LivingGrief Hub website is dedicated to providing useful information and signposting you, friends, family, patients, colleagues or anyone who may be experiencing different types of bereavement in the local area.

Whether you have experienced a loss of a baby, an unexpected death of a child or adult, had a bereavement through cancer, suicide, long term illness or COVID-19, the LivingGrief Hub is here to support you.

As well as signposting to local and national organisations, the LivingGrief Hub has up to date social groups listings in local areas including Ipswich, Stowmarket, Woodbridge, Felixstowe, Framlingham, Leiston, Saxmundham and Eye.

Hanna McDowell, Head of Therapy & Community Care Units, said: “We are delighted to launch the LivingGrief Hub which will serve as a central location to support all in East Suffolk, with its provision of important information and signposting to additional services to provide further guidance on the range of bereavement support available and practical information on what to do when a loved one dies

“Everyone experiences grief differently but we are here to help and offer advice for each individual, so please do get in contact.”

Alongside this, there are tips on how to understand grief and practical information on what to do when someone dies.
