Supporters raise over £7,000 in loose change for St Elizabeth Hospice

10 September 2013
Local people have collected their loose change in home collection boxes over the last year to raise a total of over £7,000 for St Elizabeth Hospice.

Around 400 Hospice supporters have collected money at home or in the office to raise money for St Elizabeth Hospice, an independent charity which provides local Hospice care for local people.

St Elizabeth Hospice’s Head of Community Engagement, Helen Causer, said: “Having a home collection box on display at home is an easy and simple way to raise money for the Hospice, and any money raised, from £5 – £250, can help us continue to grow local Hospice care for local people.”

If you would like a St Elizabeth Hospice home collection box, call the fundraising team on 01473 723600 or email fundraising@stelizabethhospice.org.uk

St Elizabeth Hospice improves life for people living with a progressive illness in East Suffolk and South Norfolk.

Its services costs £9.1m a year to provide and they rely on donations, fundraising and the income generated from its shops to meet the majority of its costs.
