Supporters called to collect tokens for St Elizabeth Hospice as part of Cash for Charities campaign
St Elizabeth Hospice supporters are being encouraged to collect tokens in the East Anglian Daily Times and Ipswich Star in order to support the hospice as part of a local charity campaign.
Organised by local news publisher Archant, which publishes the East Anglian Daily Times and Ipswich Star among a number of other local titles, Cash for Charities is a campaign being held until 3rd July.
The campaign sees supporters encouraged to purchase their local Archant newspaper and cut out the Cash for Charities token included in each newspaper, before distributing their collected tokens to their local St Elizabeth Hospice retail shop.
St Elizabeth Hospice retail staff will be able to receive collected tokens at all hospice and Zest shops (a full list of St Elizabeth Hospice and Zest shops can be found here).
Once all the votes are counted, £20,000 will be shared proportionally between over a 100 participating charities across Suffolk, depending on how many tokens have been collected for each charity.
There is no minimum token amount required to enter, as every charity will benefit – but the more tokens collected, the more money the charity will receive.
