Remembering someone special this Christmas
St Elizabeth Hospice is inviting supporters to join them for a special Christmas remembrance service at St Mary Le Tower on Sunday 15 December.
The event starts with a lantern procession from Sailmakers shopping centre Tavern Street entrance at 3.45pm, with children from the Antonia Cobbin School of Dance singing carols, and mini donkeys joining the walk to the St Mary Le Tower Church.
Lanterns will be available for you to carry in the procession in memory of your loved ones for a small donation to the hospice.
The remembrance service at the church will begin at 4pm, and will include festive songs and carols, as well as reflective readings for those who are thinking of lost loved ones at this time of year. At St Mary Le Tower there is also a ‘Tree of Love’ filled with dedications to all those people being remembered and celebrated at the event.
If you would like to find out more about dedicating a tag to a loved one please contact the hospice fundraising team on 01473 723600 or visit our Christmas Remembrance page.
The invitation is open to everyone if you would like to bring your family, and children are most welcome. There will as be an opportunity to meet the donkeys after the service. There’s no need to book, just turn up on the day.
