Remember a loved-one this Christmas
A series of events will be held throughout East Suffolk for people wanting to remember a loved one this Christmas.
St Elizabeth Hospice has organised four Light Up a Life events to bring together people who are missing someone at this often difficult time of year.
Each event, which is open to everyone not just those touched by Hospice care, includes Christmas carols, music and readings as well as a time for reflection.
Tania Stacey, 33, of Colchester, whose grandmother Violet Goodall, who lived in Ipswich, was cared for at St Elizabeth Hospice, said: “This year will be my second Christmas without my grandma .We spent every Christmas Day together so it will be a poignant time. It’s comforting to know people can take time out to reflect and remember cherished times at one of these Light up a Life events.”
