Premier Education Brings Sports Fun to Zest Days
Sports activity provider, Premier Education, held its first Zest Days session this February, with the young adults enjoying a range of inclusive, sporting fun.
Taking place on Friday 17th February, Premier Education’s activities saw Zest Days filled with indoor football, a giant game of hungry hippos and kurling – an indoor form of the popular winter sport, curling – as well as much more.
Sam Rozier, Senior Activities Professional at Premier Education, who led the session, said: “Today went really well. Everyone was keen to be involved and it was brilliant to see all the Zest young adults taking part and having fun with sport.
“We had a bit of competitive fun with the games and even had our own referee and score keeper, Josh, who did fantastically well at keeping tabs on the all-important scores and results.
“This was the first time Premier Education has hosted a session at Zest and we are already looking forward to returning again next month, to have more sporting fun.”
Josh (pictured alongside Sam), who has been attending Zest since it began in 2015, said: “The day has really flown by, as it has been so much fun. I really enjoyed refereeing the indoor curling and we have all loved participating in the range of activities which have all been very inclusive.”
Cath Markham, Zest Lead Nurse, added: “We all had a fantastic time at Zest Days today and a big thank you to Sam and the Premier Education team for hosting such a fun range of activities for all the Zest young adults to take part in.”
Zest Days are held every Friday, at St Elizabeth Hospice from 10am-4pm, and are dedicated to young adults aged 18 and upwards.
