Loyalty pays for Hospice shops customers

02 July 2015

Regular customers at St Elizabeth Hospice’s shops are being rewarded for their loyalty.

The local charity has launched a loyalty card for customers, with points being earned for every pound spent in a St Elizabeth Hospice shop.

For every 100 points collected, £1 credit will be given back to spend in any of the Hospice’s 25 stores.

The loyalty card will also double up as a Gift Aid card, meaning while you’re earning points, St Elizabeth Hospice can collect an extra 25p for every pound you donate, or they make from the sale of any items you donate the shops.

Jason Rudderham, the Hospice’s Head of Retail, said: “The Hospice has 25 shops across the region and each of them is well supported by the local communities and visitors. We want to reward and thank our regular customers for their support by offering them something in return for visiting our shops – and hopefully encourage new customers to come in and sign up for the loyalty scheme too.

“For every pound people spend in our shop, they will earn one point, and when they earn 100 points, they will be credited £1 to spend in the shop. We will also run special events throughout the year offering double points, so it’s definitely worth joining the scheme.

“The money raised from our shops accounts for around 20% of the funds it costs to run the Hospice every year – so by shopping and supporting our shops, you really are helping to make a difference to the lives of our patients and their families.”

The loyalty scheme is free to join. To sign up, pop into your nearest St Elizabeth Hospice shop, which can be found at www.stelizabethhospice.org.uk/shops or call 01473 745960 or email giftaid@stelizabethhospice.org.uk
