Let’s go retro for Hospice

06 December 2010

Followers of retro and vintage fashion will be in for a treat when a special fundraising shop opens in Halesworth for a second time.

Due to popular demand, St Elizabeth Hospice, an independent charity which has 11 shops throughout East Suffolk, will stock donations of vintage and retro items only at the I-Chameleon premises in Thoroughfare.

It will be open for seven days only between December 2nd – 9th, 10am to 4pm (except Thursdays when it is half day closing and it will be closed all day Sunday).

St Elizabeth Hospice retail sales manager Jason Rudderham said: “We opened a vintage shop in the same premises in the summer and it was such a success we have decided re-open in December for a further week. It is a real coup for Halesworth and should bring people into the town.”

All profits will help fund the Hospice which costs £6.6 million a year to run and relies on the generosity of the local community.

St Elizabeth Hospice, which cares for patients throughout East Suffolk, including Halesworth, is the latest in a line of charities to have occupied the empty I-Chameleon shop unit for one week only.
