Knights Lowe Announced as Midnight Walk Event Sponsors
Knights Lowe has been announced as the new event sponsor for St Elizabeth Hospice’s flagship fundraiser the Midnight Walk, which returns this May for 2026.
The chartered accountants and business advisors, which have offices in Bury St Edmunds, Ipswich and Thetford, will be supporting the much-loved hospice event taking place on Saturday 16 May.
This year’s Midnight Walk sees the hospice encourage supporters to don their favourite superhero themed costumes as they complete sponsored walks of 6 or 9 miles in aid of the charity.
The event will start at Christchurch Park, with the route taking walkers to the hospice grounds where they will be invited to write heartfelt messages in memory of loved ones on a special Memory Wall. Before continuing through Suffolk’s county town past such landmarks as Ipswich Town Hall, The Regent Theatre and Christchurch Park.
A team from Knights Lowe will also be joining in the fun at Midnight Walk. Kirk Vaughan Director at Knights Lowe said: “At Knights Lowe, we’re proud to sponsor this year’s Midnight Walk in support of our local hospice, an organisation that delivers exceptional compassionate care to individuals and families during some of life’s most difficult moments.
“As a local independent firm of accountants, we strongly believe in giving back to the community that our staff, clients, and suppliers are part of, and we are honoured to contribute to such an important cause.
“Within our team, this event holds personal significance. Several colleagues have experienced first-hand the invaluable support that hospice services provide, not only to patients, but also to the loved ones who stand beside them. This connection makes our involvement in the Midnight Walk especially meaningful.
“As the Midnight Walk approaches, the team are feeling excited and motivated. It’s a great opportunity for us to come together, challenge ourselves, and raise vital funds for such a worthwhile cause.
“We encourage as many people as possible to take part in the Midnight Walk. Not only is it a fantastic event, but it’s also a chance to support the incredible work of the hospice. Every contribution helps ensure that these essential services can continue to be there for those who need them most.”
With last year’s Midnight Walk raising over £64,000 to support the hospice’s vital services, this year’s event returns offering supporters and the local community a chance to party and raise funds for the hospice through sponsorship, as well as an opportunity to remember loved ones who are no longer with us.
Available to all, aged 10 years and older, gates will open from 7pm at Christchurch Park where there will be entertainment and live music to enjoy, plus a chance to buy some extra neon and flashing light accessories from the hospice retail team.
All ticket proceeds and donations for Midnight Walk will go to St Elizabeth Hospice, which every year provides support to over 4,000 patients & families living with life-limiting illnesses in East & Mid-Suffolk, Great Yarmouth and Waveney.
Sarah Stafford, corporate and sponsorship fundraising manager at St Elizabeth Hospice said: “We are delighted to have the fantastic support of Knights Lowe for the Midnight Walk 2026.
“This year’s Midnight Walk is sure to be a fabulous event. We cannot wait to see all our amazing supporters wearing their superhero costumes as well as the team from Knights Lowe donning their own outfits too!”
