Jacey’s Coffee Shop strides toward fundraising target with 200 mile challenge

12 September 2019

Jacey’s Coffee Shop are a small, family run coffee shop based in Ipswich town centre and they are celebrating a significant birthday this year having traded for 20 years come December.

Over the years Colin, Jackie and their team have come to know many local residents very well, some of whom have benefited from the hospice. They were keen to put a little back into society and they have chosen to support us as one of our 30th Anniversary Partners with a fundraising target of £3000.

Food & drink are their main inspiration and they have hosted charity dinners and bake sales, however their biggest challenge has been Jackie & Amy’s 200 mile coast to coast walk. They walked for  15/22miles every day (rain or shine) for 12 days from St.Bees on the Cumbrian coast across the country, through 3 national parks to Robin Hood bay on the other side.

So far they have raised over £2000 for us.

We love hearing about all the things our supporters do to fundraise for us – thank you so much!
