Hospice Opens New Shop in Pakefield
St Elizabeth Hospice has officially unveiled a new retail shop in Pakefield.
Opening its doors for the first time on Thursday (25 June), the hospice shop is located on London Road South and will be open 9.00am-4.30pm, Monday to Saturday, as well as 10am-4pm on Sundays.
Cutting the ribbon to mark the shop’s opening was shop manager Tracey Riley and Lowestoft Deputy Mayor, Cllr Elise Youngman.
Tracey Riley said: “It’s fantastic to open our new shop here in Pakefield, and we’d like to thank the local community for such a warm reception.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming many new faces through our doors. If you’re interested in volunteering as part of our team, please do get in touch and let us know!
“St Elizabeth Hospice’s work is at the heart of the community, and this shop will help us connect further with local people, while raising vital funds to support patients and their families during life’s most difficult times.”
St Elizabeth Hospice’s Pakefield shop becomes the charity’s 36th store and will sell a range of menswear, womenswear, children’s clothes, books, vinyl and homeware.
All funds raised through the shop will go towards the work of St Elizabeth Hospice, which every year support to over 4,000 patients & families living with life-limiting illnesses in the local area.
Annually, these services cost around £12 million to deliver, with 70% of funds raised via generous community support through donations, fundraising challenges, retail shops and gifts in Wills.
If you have any good-quality items you wish to donate that are clean, complete and saleable, please visit your local St Elizabeth Hospice shop and our team will be happy to help.
