Hospice announces retirement of Chief Executive
St Elizabeth Hospice’s Chairman of the Board of Trustees, William Barnes (right), said: “Jane Petit decided to retire from her role as Chief Executive of St Elizabeth Hospice at the end of May.”
“Trustees have thanked Jane for all she has achieved over the five years she had been with the Hospice.”
“The Senior Management Team are dealing with the day-to-day management of the Hospice while Trustees consider plans for the recruitment and appointment of a new Chief Executive.”
The Hospice is working on the last stages of an extension to the Day Unit at its site in Foxhall Road, Ipswich, which will allow a further expansion of services to the community in East Suffolk.
St Elizabeth Hospice is a charity which improves life for people living with a progressive illness in East Suffolk and South Norfolk.
The Day Unit extension started last year following a grant from the Department of Health.
