Four-legged Friends Bring Fun to Zest
The Zest young adults enjoyed a real treat this Friday (23 June) as a number of dogs visited Zest Days, as part of St Elizabeth Hospice’s upcoming fundraiser – Suffolk Dog Day.
The dogs were kindly brought along to Zest Days by Gladwells Pet & Country Store, Skinners, Nightingale Vets and the RSPCA Suffolk, who are all supporting Suffolk Dog Day which takes place on 10 September.
As well as meeting the pooches, the Zest young adults had day full of doggy-themed fun. From dog quizzes, dog cupcake decorating through to canine arts and crafts making.
Jodie Horwood, activities coordinator at Zest, said, said: “It really was a fun packed day, which all the young adults loved.
“Having the dogs visit us was a pleasure and they really brought such joy to our day. Plenty of smiles and waggy tails. Thank you to all who made this possible.”
Zest Days are held every Friday, at St Elizabeth Hospice from 10am-4pm, and are dedicated to young adults aged 18 and upwards.
