enable.services’ raise over £1,200 for hospice
Martlesham based digital solutions provider, enable.services, has raised more than £1,200 for St Elizabeth Hospice after hosting a fundraising fun day for staff and their families to enjoy.
Taking place on 28th August, the fun day was held in the garden of enable.services’ Managing Director, and saw a range of activities for all to enjoy and help raise funds for the hospice, which is the company’s chosen Charity of the Year for 2021.
From a bouncy castle for younger party guests to a larger, inflatable assault course for adults and ‘big kids’ to take on, there was plenty for all to enjoy. As well as this, there was a BBQ and a fundraising raffle featuring an array of prizes generously donated by local businesses, including restaurant vouchers, luxury food hampers, candles and framed prints.
Skyla Grimble, Marketing Assistant at enable.services, said: “Many of our team have connections to St Elizabeth Hospice through having had family members or friends cared for by the hospice, so we were very keen as a team to give back to the charity, which is why we chose the hospice as our Charity of the Year.
“Our fundraising fun day was brilliant to be a part of and we even managed to have some sunshine too! The whole team are so grateful to all who supported the event and helped enable.services raise £1,200 for the hospice.”
enable.services has supported the hospice for a number of years in a range of ways. From creating the website for the Ed Sheeran: Made in Suffolk Legacy Auction in 2020, which raised funds for St Elizabeth Hospice’s young adult service, Zest, through to members of the enable.services’ team volunteering their time at the hospice.
They have also created the website for love all auction, an upcoming event later this year that will also support Zest.
