Ed Sheeran donates clothes to Hospice shop in Framlingham

26 March 2014

St Elizabeth Hospice today thanked Ed Sheeran and his family for donating eight bags of the singer’s clothes to their shop to his home town Framlingham, Suffolk.

Ed’s mother Imogen, who lives in the town, dropped off the sought-after items this morning.

Items donated include a hooded onesie, loads of cool trainers, T-shirts, hats and more. Keep an eye on our Facebook page where we have uploaded pictures of some of the donations and will continue to do so as we sift through them.

To ensure Ed Sheeran fans get a good look at the items, the Hospice is to hold a special one-off sale at the shop and an online auction. Details will be announced soon.

St Elizabeth Hospice said the items would be moved elsewhere for pricing up and urged fans not to turn up at the shop just yet.

Sue Goodchild, St Elizabeth Hospice’s Head of Retail, said: “We are extremely grateful to Ed Sheeran and his family for this donation. The Sheeran family have long been supporters of St Elizabeth Hospice and understand how we rely on local support of our 26 shops to help fund local Hospice care for local people in East Suffolk and South Norfolk.

“We welcome donations all year round to our shops of a range of items and you don’t have to be famous to support us!”

We welcome donations of good quality items from clothes and accessories, to DVDs, toys and small electricals, as well as furniture. If you would like to donate items, you can drop them off at your nearest St Elizabeth Hospice shop. To donate furniture, in the first instance please call 0846 259 0319 and we will arrange to come and collect it from you.
